Past Projects | London Design Embassy

The London Design Embassy was a fabulously designed, sumptuous business resource and crash-pad for the exclusive use of the world’s design community, right in the establishment heart of London during London Design Festival.

Designed by Tom Dixon it opened exclusively September 18 – 23 during London Design Festival to reflect the UK ’s position as the creative workshop of the world and reinforces London ’s pre-eminence as a global design hub.

Creative London and UK Trade & Investment, together with icon magazine as media partner, worked together to make the visit to London Design Festival a memorable and effective experience.

London Design Embassy was located in the Nash and Brandon Rooms at the Institute of Contemporary Arts and provided:

  • The world’s design community with a unique private members club in the heart of London , where they can work, relax and socialise with like-minded people between events during the days and in the evenings
  • A networking hub where international visitors will be able to meet with one another and with selected British talent
  • Provide an unmissable and memorable programme of events
  • A Concierge Service to help visitors navigate their way through the Festival and to make sure that they attend events appropriate to their interests
  • Meeting facilities
  • Free Internet access
